What personal care includes
Personal care covers the everyday activities of daily living (ADLs) that become harder with age, illness, injury or memory loss. Our caregivers help only where help is needed, so your loved one stays as independent as possible while staying safe.

Is there a minimum visit length?
Yes. Personal care visits have a 4-hour minimum so your caregiver has time to help without rushing.
Does Medicaid cover personal care?
NC Medicaid offers a Personal Care Services (PCS) program for members who need help with daily tasks such as bathing, dressing, eating, toileting and moving around. Eligibility is decided through an in-person assessment arranged by NC Medicaid. @Home Care accepts Medicaid, and we can talk you through the next steps.

Our team includes professional caregivers and licensed CNAs. Every employee passes a national background check and is trained for the individual needs of each client.
